The Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has accused the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the state and member representing the Ogu / Bolo constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Evans Bipi of masterminding the bomb attack that rocked an Ahoada High court.
The party in a press statement by its interim Publicity Secretary, Andy Nweye condemned what it termed resort to physical violence to the judiciary and court officials in the state by the PDP.
APC also stated that the six gunmen arrested by the Joint Task Force, JTF and were allegedly linked to the senator Representing Rivers South West, George Sekibo and self acclaimed speaker of the state assembly , Evans Bipi were part of the snipers alleged to have been trained against 2015 political opponents
The statement traced the violent attacks on the judiciary in the state to a court order by Justice Charles Wali of the Ahoada High Court which restrained Bipi from parading himself as speaker of the state assembly after which the court building was bombed.
