The floodlight at Stade Charles De Gaulle was turned off as the Super Eagles trained in Porto-Novo, Benin Republic, yesterday.

The training session held ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Benin Republic.

The Super Eagles are due to face the Squirrels today.

Gernot Rohr’s wards arrived at the Stade Charles De Gaulle to have a feel of the pitch at 6:29pm Nigerian time.

But throughout the one hour spent in the stadium, the floodlight was not switched on by officials of the Benin Republic Football Federation.
