The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has distanced itself from a fundraising campaign led by Opeyemi Falegan, ex-lover of Nkechi Blessing, the Nollywood actress.
Yesterday, the politician had called for support for his foundation known as Opeyemi David Falegan (ODF) in a post via his Instagram page.
In the post, he claimed that his foundation, in partnership with UNICEF, recently raised funds for those affected by the war in Ukraine.
But in a statement via its page, UNICEF denied the alleged partnership with his foundation.
