Parallex Bank Limited has expressed its partnership with University of Lagos in celebration of the institution’s 60th anniversary.
A statement said the celebration, started with a Jumat service at the university mosque, and Parallex Bank sponsored cocktail event which took place later.
The Managing Director, Parallex Bank, and an alumnus of the University, Mr Olufemi Bakre, stated that the institution was celebrating 60 years of reasonably improving humanity, transforming lives and building lasting legacies.

“Therefore, it is a privilege for a financial institution like Parallex to share in the celebration by extending a partnership to the premier institution,” he said.
In his speech, he observed that Unilag and Parallex Bank shared core values such as professionalism, innovation, excellence, customer-centricity, and collaboration.
On such a significant day marking the institution’s diamond jubilee, he said, it was only worthy that these shared values allowed for a partnership.
He lauded the institution and shared on how fulfilling it had been to know Unilag has successfully raising giants across all sectors of the economy.
The Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, said that Parallex Bank extended its support to the institution.
He noted that it had been a significant part of some landmark events of the school which had included a major sponsorship of the cocktail event of the 60th anniversary Diamond Jubilee celebration.
