25-Year-Old Married Female Teacher Caught Having S'3x With Her 16-Year-Old Male Student
Reports say a Valley High School special education teacher in Las Vegas was caught having sex with one of her special-ed students. The 25-year-old married teacher, sources say, took advantage of a student inside the classroom.
A video clip profiled Jillian Lafave, a special education teacher. Lafave and her father were highlighted in an education piece talking about new teachers at Valley High School.
"There's a special education shortage, so my phone was blowing up," said Jillian LaFave in the video.
Clark County School District administrators confirmed that more than a week ago the married teacher was charged with sex acts with a pupil.
Valley High School sources tell News 3 Lafave was caught having sex with a 16-year-old special-ed student in the classroom. A hall monitor spotted the two engaged in a sexual act during school hours. Valley High parents were not happy about the allegations.
"I think it's really sad because one thinks that their children are secure in school. If those things are happening it makes me worry," said parent Raquel Martinez.
On social media, the victim posted many pictures with Lafave. Parents say they're disappointed the school never alerted them about the arrest.
"This is a surprise to me because I didn't hear that this happened. I think it's bad that school leaders didn't notify us about these allegations", said parent Laura Diaz.
Lafave is now out on bond. She is scheduled to be back in District Court on March 30. Clark County School District administrators say Lafave is on home paid leave.
