Betty White, the ace American actress and comedian, has passed away — about 17 days to her 100th birthday.
According to People, Jeff Witjas, the deceased’s agent and close friend, broke the news in a statement yesterday.
“Even though Betty was about to be 100, I thought she would live forever. I will miss her terribly and so will the animal world that she loved so much,” the statement read.
“I don’t think Betty ever feared passing because she always wanted to be with her most beloved husband Allen Ludden. She believed she would be with him again.”
It is understood that the entertainer died at home in the early hours of yesterday.
Her death comes three days after she expressed her excitement ahead of her 100th birthday billed for January 17, 2022 in an Instagram post.
