United Capital Plc has officially announced the resignations of two of its Non-Executive Directors, Mr. Sonny Iroche and Sir Stephen Nwadiuko, marking the conclusion of their respective 5-year tenures on the company’s board.
In a formal statement released to the Nigeria Exchange Limited, United Capital Plc expressed its gratitude to both Mr. Iroche and Sir Nwadiuko for their valuable contributions to the organization during their tenure as directors and extended its best wishes for their future endeavors.
Sir Stephen Nwadiuko brings a wealth of financial expertise to the table. He is a fellow of several prestigious institutions, including the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and the Compliance Institute of Nigeria.
Nwadiuko’s distinguished career and Iroche’s extensive experience
He is an associate of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria. Nwadiuko boasts an impressive career, having served for over two decades in the Banking Supervision Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
He also held positions such as council member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Abuja Branch.
Presently, Nwadiuko serves as a Member of the Investigating Panel for both the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
He is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Compliance Institute Nigeria and was recently appointed as the Managing Director/CEO of First Guarantee Pensions Limited by the National Pensions Commission.
On the other hand, Mr. Sonny Iroche is a highly experienced Finance Executive with a career spanning more than three decades in Banking, Power, and Public Service.
Over the years, he has held positions on various boards, including the International Glass Industries Limited and GTBank Sierra Leone.
