The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has issued a call for proposals to secure courier services for its operations.

This announcement was made by the apex bank in a statement released on Wednesday.

The CBN is looking for courier service providers with a track record of handling corporate courier services and registered to operate within Nigeria.

These providers are invited to prequalify and submit tenders for the provision of courier services.

CBN invites bids from courier providers

The scope of the service contract is expected to cover a three-year period. It encompasses the maintenance of two mail rooms and mail distribution services at the CBN’s administrative offices situated in Abuja and Lagos.

It involves mail handling services at all CBN branches, currency centers, learning centers located in Lagos, and the International Training Institute in Abuja.

To be eligible for consideration, interested service providers are required to submit both technical and financial proposals in the English language.

The CBN has specified that potential vendors, who meet the necessary requirements, can obtain the bidding documents by paying a non-refundable fee of N10,000 at the CBN’s head office complex in Abuja.

All proposal submissions must reach the CBN’s head office complex, centrally located in the business district of Abuja, by 2:00 p.m. on November 28, 2023.

The CBN indicated that the prequalification and technical proposal submissions will be opened immediately following the bid submission deadline on November 28, 2023.
