In a scathing critique, Femi Fani-Kayode didn’t mince words as he lambasted Senator Dino Melaye over his election loss in the recently concluded Kogi State Gubernatorial Election.
Despite Melaye’s bold rejection of the results, accusing the APC of institutionalized rigging, Fani-Kayode derisively noted that Melaye’s electoral performance was abysmal, securing only 46,262 votes out of a total of 751,000.
Taking a dig at Melaye’s prior confrontations and provocative behavior, Fani-Kayode highlighted the irony of Melaye’s political downfall despite his past political positions as a House of Reps member and a Senator.
The former aviation minister went on to assert that Melaye’s defeat marked the end of his political journey, a far cry from his previous bravado and threatening rhetoric during political campaigns.
