Davido has revealed the reason behind his dedication to his music career, despite being the son of a billionaire.
Born David Adeleke, the singer is the son of Nigerian business mogul and billionaire Adedeji Adeleke.
In a recent viral video, the 32-year-old artiste acknowledged his privileged background, boasting that he has a “billion-dollar inheritance secured” for him, even if he never works another day in his life.
However, the singer emphasised that there is a clear distinction between David Adeleke, the billionaire’s son, and Davido, the hardworking musician.
He admitted that he sometimes questions why he pushes himself so hard, given that financial security is already guaranteed.
