The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday stated that it was not aware of the arrest of its Deputy Governor-elect in Kogi State, Hon. Abiodun Faleke.
 
The National Chairman of APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and the Kogi State chairman of the party, Mr. Haddy Ametou at a different telephone interviews denied knowledge of Faleke’s arrest. 
 
According to the duo, New Telegraph reports, the information of his arrest is news to them.
 
 
 
 
Faleke, who is in court against the leadership of the APC and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over the successor of the late Prince Audu Abubakar, the governorship candidate of the APC in Kogi State in the September 22 election, was earlier invited by the Department of State Security Services in Abuja and was kept for several hours before been released.
 
He was invited alongside with Mohammed Abubakar, the son of the late Audu Abubakar.
