In move to bolster Micro and Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Osun State, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi Adeyeye, has injected N250 million into the sector through his business support initiative, Ojaja More.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Ojaja More, Orioye Gbayisemore, made this announcement during an interview with reporters in Akure on Tuesday, according to the News Agency of Nigeria.

Vision to empower MSMEs in Osun

Gbayisemore elaborated on the purpose behind Ojaja More, explaining that it was established by the Ooni to enhance the socio-economic well-being of Nigerians, particularly those residing in Osun State.

It aims to promote products made in Nigeria. Since its inception in 2022, Ojaja More has been actively supporting MSMEs in Osun State, specifically vendors.

Gbayisemore noted that the initiative has successfully assisted over 350 MSMEs, providing them with a platform to supply their goods and conducting compliance training and assessments for beneficiaries in collaboration with various government agencies.

He further highlighted the transformation brought about by Ojaja More within a year, revolutionizing the retail business landscape, fostering an environment conducive to modern trade, and elevating the socio-economic conditions of the people in Osun State, particularly in the historic city of Ife.
