RAI Foundation Felicitates With Iwoland New Monarch, Says It's A 'New Dawn'
RAI Foundation, a community based non governmental organisation located in Osun State has expressed felicitations with with the Oluwo of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi ILUFEMILOYE TELU 1 on the occasion of the official presentation of the staff of office and coronation coming up on Saturday, 16th of January, 2016.
In a press statement released by the Board of Directors of the Foundation and made available to SKYTREND NEWS in Lagos today, the group expressed delight with the monarch on his historic ascension of the stool of his forefathers and prayed for good health, wisdom and understanding for the king in order to pilot the ancient town to the promise land.
The statement signed by the Executive Director of the Foundation, Sir Rufai Adeniyi Ismail, affirmed that "it's now a new dawn in Iwoland" and urged all true sons and daughters of the land to support the monarch in his effort to redeem the lost glory of Iwo.
Sir Rufai assured the populace that the king will definitely bring forth his wealth of experience and exposure in ensuring and advancing the course of developing the town under the new Monarch.
"The people of Iwoland should be assured of greater humanitarian services through the effort of RAI foundation", adding that his group will double effort in bringing succour to the good people of Iwo through different developmental programs the foundation will be embarking on.
RAI Foundation was set up in 2010 as a community based foundation to empower youth and as a grassroot movement for socio-political enlightenment in Iwoland, Osun State in particular and nationwide in general.
