The senator was allegedly shot by Nigerian Security forces with a rubber bullet in an attempt to disperse a political rally in Port Harcourt few days ago.
Is it not leadership failure, for Rivers State and indeed the entire country Nigeria, not to have a single state-of-the-art hospital where this type of injury can be treated?
Our leaders, state governors inclusive must begin to account for the huge budget at their disposal every year, and yet they fly abroad with our resources every now and then for medical aid.
The younger generation and indeed all Nigerians must begin to ask these leaders very serious questions.
