A young boy was seen in Lagos traffic holding a laminated banner which announced that he is up for sale.
A bizzare video of an unnamed young man putting himself up for sale has been trending on social media.
Two young men driving in an undisclosed area in the night spotted him advertising himself to commutters. The small placard in his hand had two phone numbers for interested buyers.
The reason behind his unspeakable action remains unknown but many feel it might be due to the acute economic hardship Nigeria is embroiled in.
Over 8 million people have lost their jobs since 2015 amid a high cost of living in Lagos State.
Human trade in Nigeria and across the world remains illegal.
