Lagos, Nigeria Business News 29th September, 2018: Ahead of tomorrow’s governorship election primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, 36 members of the Lagos State House of Assembly, including the speaker, Rt.Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, have backed the aspiration of Mr. Jide Sanwo-olu.

The lawmakers decided to pitch tent with Sanwo-olu ahead of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode who is having a running battle with the state leadership of the party over his second term bid.

The meeting was presided over by the Speaker of the House, Obasa. Out of the 40 members of the House, 36 were present at the meeting and all of them endorsed the decision and duly signed the statement announcing the decision.
