APC Slams Oba Akiolu For Hate Speech Against Igbo, Says He Speaks For Himself

 

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has condemned in strong terms the hate speech by the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, adding that the Lagos Oba does not speak for the party.

 

The party in a tweet this afternoon on its handle @APCNigeria, distanced itself from the hate campaign, insisting that whatever is bad is bad and that the reverred Oba speaks for himself.

 

Oba Rilwan Akiolu had said on Sunday when a group of Igbo leaders visited him , that anyone who refuses to vote for APC governorship candidate in Lagos, Akinwunmi Ambode, will die in the lagoon within seven days, adding that if the person do not die, he (Oba) should be called a bastard.
