The senate continued its screening of ministerial nominees Thursday with the former governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi having his day.

His screening had suffered a number of setbacks following petitions challenging his credentials to occupy the position as a result of alleged wrongdoing bordering on corruption.

However, at Thursday's screening, Amaechi gave chapter and verse of his tenure as it related to the expenditure of money.
