Real Madrid C. F. and R. C. D. Espanyol have agreed to the transfer of Kiko Casilla, subject to a necessary medical examination.
The player will be tied to the club for the next five seasons.
Real had retained 50% ownership of the 28-year-old when he left them for Espanyol in 2007.
Casilla, who will sign a five-year contract, will provide competition for Keylor Navas and Fernando Pacheco.
Real, who sold club legend Iker Casillas, 34, to Porto this month, have been linked with a move for Manchester United keeper David De Gea, 24.
