Ellah Lakes Plc has announced the resignation of Hauwa Nuru from her position as director of the company due to her recent political appointment.
The news came through an official statement that was shared with the Nigerian Exchange Limited and reported by Nairametrics.
Hauwa Nuru was appointed as the Commissioner of Finance for Kwara State by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq.
According to the statement, her resignation as a director at Ellah Lakes took effect on September 19, 2023.
The company has already initiated the process to find a suitable replacement to fill the vacant seat on the board.
The statement expressed gratitude to Hauwa Nuru for her valuable service to the company and indicated that further updates regarding her replacement would be communicated once the Board confirms a new director.
