Mother Of 5 Slumps, Dies After Marathon Sex With 28-Year Old Lover

Ogun, Nigeria Political News 3rd October, 2018: Police in Ogun State have arrested a 28-year-old man, Kelvin Michael, in connection with the death of a mother of five, Monsurat Idowu.

Monsurat (40) died allegedly after a marathon sex with the suspect at Ota in Ado-Odo-Ota Local Government Area.

In a statement yesterday, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed that Michael was arrested on Wednesday.

Oyeyemi, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said the arrest was as a result of report by a man, Ben-jamin Okereke, of the State Hospital, Ota, that the suspect brought the deceased to the hospital dead.



The PPRO added that since the suspect could not explain the circumstances that surrounded the death, Okereke decided to notify the police.

Upon the report, the DPO, Onipanu Division, SP Sangobiyi Johnson, led his men to the hospital where the man was promptly arrested.

“On interrogation, the suspect claimed to have met the deceased last month in a bus at Ketu, Lagos where they exchanged phone numbers, consequent upon which he invited her to the house of his friend in Ota where the deceased suddenly slumped and died shortly after they finished having sexual intercourse.




“The husband of the deceased, Lamidi Idowu, a commercial driver who was quickly contacted, told the police that he left his wife in the house hale and hearty while going out for work, wondering what might have led to her untimely death,” Oyeyemi said.

The PPRO added that Monsurat’s body had already been deposited at the mortuary for postmortem examination.

He said that the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, had ordered the immediate transfer of the case to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) for discreet investigation.
