President Bola Tinubu has nominated Dr. Aba Ibrahim and Dr. Muda Yusuf to serve as members on the Board of the Nigeria Customs Service for a four-year term, representing the organized private sector.
The announcement was made by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement titled ‘President Tinubu appoints two Nigeria Customs Service Board Members.’
Ngelale conveyed the President’s well-wishes to the newly appointed members, emphasizing Tinubu’s expectation that the private sector’s perspectives and views would be thoroughly expressed.
The President envisions that this approach will contribute to the realization of the Renewed Hope agenda’s objectives, particularly in actively promoting and attracting investments across various sectors of the economy.
The efficient implementation of ongoing reforms within the NCS is deemed crucial for achieving these goals, according to Ngelale.
