The Kano State Police Command has officially acknowledged that Abba Burakita and 40 other young individuals have voluntarily surrendered themselves and their weapons to the command.

This revelation was made in a statement released by the state’s Public Relations Officer, SP Haruna Abdullahi, on Thursday.

The statement disclosed, “Abba Burakita, along with the 40 cooperative and influential young individuals, is presently in the custody of the police command, where they are undergoing security profiling.”

The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Gumel, urged anyone with complaints or concerns regarding Abba Burakita to report to the Complaint Response Unit situated at the office of the Police Public Relations Officer at the Bompai Police Headquarters in Kano.

He also encouraged residents to actively support the police’s efforts by providing valuable information that could assist the command in capturing criminals within the state.
