60,000 children to benefit as Lagos lawmaker, Alli-Macaulay distributes educational materials to Amuwo Odofin schools

Lawmaker representing Amuwo Odofin Constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Mojisolaoluwa Alli-Macaulay is set to distribute educational materials such as books, pens, pencils, water bottles, etc to over 60,000 children and parents in commemoration of children’s day celebrations.

According to the lawmaker, the move is also aimed at supporting educational development in Lagos State as this will also serve to discourage the number of out of school children.

Mojisola Alli Macaulay fondly called Mama Amuwo says, “Every child deserves to be educated and not just to have education, but good education. It Is Imperative that we take this seriously because they are going to be leaders tomorrow.”

The lawmaker adds, “The Lagos State government has also taken it as a priority to put laws in place to hold every parent responsible in that regard and also in support of this initiative. I am excited about it and I know we will make an impact in the state.

“We are blessed to have children in our lives, to me children are the most precious gifts and blessings and I cherish every moment spent with them and I am using this opportunity to wish every child “A HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY”, remember every child is your child.
