Former President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has conveyed his contentment regarding the verdict of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal, which affirmed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, as the winner of the February 25 election.
In a statement released through his media aide, Garba Shehu, Buhari hailed the Tribunal for demonstrating unwavering resolve in upholding justice despite various pressures and biases.

Buhari noted that with the Supreme Court’s final ruling, the election period concludes, and it’s time to move beyond the heated debates.
He urged everyone to rally behind the new APC administration led by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, encouraging them to fulfill the pledges made to the citizens.
Buhari also expressed gratitude to Nigerians for maintaining peace throughout the process and extended his well wishes for the continued progress and development under the APC’s governance.
He conveyed warm congratulations to the President, Vice President, and the APC on their court victory.
