A Nigerian X user, who goes by the username Logik #iamlogikk, is celebrating a substantial payment of N36,858,567 from the app’s ad revenue sharing program initiated by its owner, Elon Musk.
Logik proudly shared screenshots displaying the payment statistics on his X profile, accompanied by a simple caption expressing gratitude to Elon Musk for the generous sum.
Twitter expands payment plan to global users
X had initially launched its payment plan in the United States in July and recently expanded it to verified global users, including Twitter Blue subscribers.
This move has allowed several Nigerian content creators on the platform to start receiving payments as well.
Another Nigerian content creator named Bamidele, boasting an impressive following of 102.5k users, became eligible to receive N491k through the app but decided to withdraw N245k at the time.
