Mohammed Adamu, the outgoing IGP, handed over to Baba yesterday at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
Earlier, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo decorated Usman Baba as the Acting IGP.
Baba, a Deputy Inspector-General of Police, was yesterday appointed as acting IGP by President Muhammadu Buhari.
