Labour party displeased with Tribunal's verdict, set to reveal next steps

Following the Tribunal’s verdict on Wednesday, the Labour Party’s National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, expressed disappointment in the justice system’s handling of the party’s petitions against the APC and Tinubu.

He mentioned that the Labour Party would determine its next steps after consulting with their legal team once they receive the Certified True Copy of the judgments.

Labour party vows to fight for justice

The party asserted that the court’s judgment did not align with the law and the will of the people, emphasizing that the electoral malpractice witnessed on February 25, 2023, was widely condemned, yet the Tribunal did not acknowledge it.

They emphasized the importance of democracy and their determination to persevere until justice prevails.

The party commended their legal team for their unwavering dedication in exposing flaws within the system and stated that their detailed position would be articulated after consulting with their lawyers and receiving the Certified True Copy of the judgment.
