Nigerian air force prepares for induction of newly acquired aircraft

The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has announced the imminent induction of recently acquired aircraft into the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) inventory.

These aircraft are part of the Nigerian government’s procurement efforts to strengthen the nation’s security.

The deployment of these new assets is expected to enhance NAF’s capacity to combat terrorist groups, bandits, and other criminal elements operating within the country.

In a recent meeting with NAF commanders, Air Marshal Abubakar confirmed that the service had already begun receiving additional air assets.

These acquisitions include two remaining Diamond-62 Multi-Purpose Platforms, which were recently delivered in Ilorin, Kwara State.

The Air Chief expressed optimism that these new platforms would significantly bolster NAF’s operations in its fight against insurgents, terrorists, and various criminal elements.

Air Marshal Abubakar stressed the importance of meeting the expectations of the Nigerian people in ridding the nation of criminal activities.

He urged NAF commanders to develop effective strategies that enhance operational capabilities and improve logistics support systems and maintenance practices.
