Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun, the Head of Service in Ogun State, has emphasized the importance of professionalism among civil servants in the state.
He made this statement during a meeting with the executive members of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, Ogun State Branch, led by Chairman Sean Badiru, at his office in Abeokuta.
Diligence among civil servants
Fagbohun stressed the need for civil servants to excel in their respective roles and work diligently to prevent government revenue wastage and leaks, ensuring sufficient resources for meeting the needs of the people.
He also called for continued support for the administration led by Prince Dapo Abiodun, highlighting its worker-friendly approach and commitment to promoting professionalism through training and seminars for civil servants.
In response, the Ogun State CIPM chairman expressed gratitude to the government for recognizing personnel management as an essential cadre within the state civil service.
