The Ondo state house of Assembly says it has received a medical leave letter from Rotimi Akeredolu, the governor.
In January, Richard Olatunde, his chief press secretary, had said though the governor was battling some health challenges, he is receiving treatment and discharging his duties.
Speaking on Tuesday, Olamide Oladiji, speaker of the house, explained that the governor has embarked on a 21-day medical leave outside of Nigeria’s shores.
