Parallex Bank has secured the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) official approval for collecting Nigeria Export Supervision Scheme (NESS) fees.

These fees are mandatory for all legitimate goods, both non-oil and oil-based, exported from Nigeria.

CBN endorsement

The endorsement was confirmed in a circular signed by Dr. W.J. Kanya, representing the Director of the Trade and Exchange Department at the CBN, and authorized by the Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning, Mr. Wale Edun.

Authorized dealers and service providers have been urged to take note of this important development.

Dr. Olufemi Bakre, the Managing Director of Parallex Bank Limited, expressed his satisfaction with the approval and encouraged authorized exporters to utilize the bank’s extensive banking expertise.

He assured exporters of seamless services for NESS fee payments and other transactions.

Bakre also extended his appreciation to the CBN for recognizing Parallex Bank as a reliable partner in collaboration with the Federal Government.
