In Abeokuta, Ogun State, a pastor affiliated with the Christ Liberty Evangelism Church, Rosco, Iyana Iyesi, Ota, Oyenekan Oluwaseyi, along with three other individuals, were apprehended for possessing a human skull in the Saje Area.
According to sources within the Ogun State Police Command, the suspects, identified as Oluwaseyi, Ibrahim Agbowewe (30 years old), Suleiman Ogunbunmi (40 years old), and Gafari Akinsanya (57 years old), claimed their intention was to use the skull for ritualistic purposes.
Suspects with human skull arrested
The arrest occurred following a tip-off from concerned members of the public who noticed the suspects’ suspicious behavior in the area.
Law enforcement officers acted on this information, and during the operation, they seized additional items, including a large calabash, a black Toyota Camry car, and a ram.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Omolola Odutola, confirmed the arrest and noted that the four suspects had admitted their involvement in the alleged ritualistic activities. Investigations into the incident are currently underway
