Experts from various sectors are gearing up to present their strategies for driving inclusive economic growth through effective governance at the 47th Annual Conference of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSAN).
Mrs. Funmi Ekundayo, the President/Chairman of the Governing Council of ICSAN, revealed this during a pre-conference briefing in Lagos last week.
ICSAN conference to focus on economic growth
Represented by Mrs. Uto Ukpanah, Vice President of ICSAN and Chairman of the Planning Committee, Ekundayo announced that the conference is scheduled for September 21, 2023, and will feature distinguished guests including Mr. Asue Ighodalo, Founding Partner of Banwo & Ighodalo (Conference Chairman), and Prof. Enase Okonedo, Vice Chancellor of Pan Atlantic University, Lagos, who will serve as the keynote speaker.
The conference will revolve around the theme: “Sound Governance as a Catalyst for a Thriving Economy: Advocating for Inclusiveness.”
Ekundayo emphasized the significance of sound governance, stating, “We, as citizens of this country, understand the crucial role sound governance plays in enhancing integrity and efficiency.
Poor governance weakens the country’s potential and can lead to unethical and corrupt practices.”
