Nigerian Man Begs EFCC To Give Him A Job

A Nigerian man took to social media to appeal to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to assist him with capital to set up a business. He said he needed the cash so he doesn’t turn into a life of crime.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is a Nigerian law enforcement agency that investigates financial crimes such as advance fee fraud and money laundering. A young man identified as Suleiman Usman Chakams asked the anti-graft agency for money to start up his own business.

He made the unusual request in response to a post by EFCC, where it asked for open interaction with Nigerians on Facebook.

He wrote;

In response to Suleiman’s plea, EFCC explained that once it successfully tackles the challenge of corruption, unemployment would no longer be an issue for Nigerian youths.
