Vice-President Kashim Shettima has expressed his intention to move beyond the realm of politics and engage former presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar in a different role.
Shettima, speaking to reporters outside the court of appeal in Abuja following the presidential election tribunal’s confirmation of President Bola Tinubu’s victory, emphasized his respect for Atiku as an elder statesman.
Shettima playfully teases Atiku
Shettima, with a touch of humor, remarked that their relationship allowed him to tease Atiku, suggesting he could retire him to a different path.
Instead of relocating Atiku to places like Dubai or Morocco, Shettima playfully suggested retiring him to Fombina, offering to provide him with livestock such as goats, broilers, and layers.
This lighthearted statement implied that Atiku could spend his days tending to cows and poultry.
