Aisha, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, has paid a condolence visit to the family of Ibrahim Attahiru, the late army chief of staff.
Attahiru and 10 other military officers died in an air crash near the Kaduna international airport on Friday.
Their remains were buried at the national military cemetery in the federal capital territory (FCT) on Saturday.
In a tweet yesterday evening, the first lady shared photos of her visit to the army chief’s residence, saying the death of Attahiru and other officers is a monumental loss to the nation.
